‘HD1 is a great little studio close
to home, we worked our asses off over the past few days
and it’s definitely paid off! It’s been a good
experience and we are all happy with the result!’
– said singer Alex Krzesinski.
The Cut have been in and out of the studio since they formed
in 2003. They have worked along side in-house engineers
James Reid and Jason Salisbury and now more recently their
own producer Martin Buck for the Walking Lonely Streets
sessions. Due to their solid relationship with the studio
there is no doubt the boys will be back in the New Year
with fresh ideas to record. To hear more clips of Walking
Lonely Streets visit the Cut’s official website www.thecut-theband.com
the Cut first burst onto the scene in the summer of 2003,
showcasing their original and eclectic mix of contemporary
funk, rock and fresh urban grooves to their receptive local
following.
As the band progressed, their sound powered through Manchester,
Leeds, Sheffield and their home town of Huddersfield, picking
up a strong army of fans and enthusiastic promoters along
the way, and developing their now renowned and un-rivalled
live ability.
Rave reviews, sell-out gigs, an appearance at 2004's ‘In
The City' [Manchester] and their two previous demos created
a buzz surrounding the band in the north and attracted interest
from Landstar Management, who now represent the Cut.

Their latest CD "Walking Lonely Streets" has
built on the success of the earlier recordings and manages
to acurately capture the bands live energy.
Recent performances at well know venues such as Dublin
Castle [London], The Cavern [Liverpool], Night & Day
[Manchester] and The Cockpit [Leeds] as well as regular
slots in London ensure that the Cut continue to entrance
audiences with their energetic and addictive live shows.
