Stories Over is a four-piece band from Halifax (UK) who began performing
together in January2007. The band has quickly progressed as musicians and friends;
it is easy to see that they belong on the stage together.
The band came together after Tom (Vocals) & Si (Drums) had both recently
parted ways with their previous bands. After avoiding doing work and
corresponding via the email system at work, they found out how
much, musically, they had in common.
Coincidently, Si bumped into old friend James, who mentioned that he'd recently
left his previous covers band to pursue something more original.
This was the forming of 'Bsidemovie' as the trio acquired good friend
Andrew Walker on bass guitar duties.
After a year had passed the band really wanted to push on and progress.
It was apparent a slight image & name change would be the best direction.
The more serious tone to the band led to Andrew's departure.
This is where 'Stories Over' was created with the quick acquisition of
local talented bass player Johnny Hey, who had known
Simon and Tom from previous bands.
Now to the present day, a year on and the band are making decent inroads
playing such prestigious venues as Bradford & Leeds Rios, as well as many
local venues. Who knows what is over the horizon.
